This course is eligible for 1.0 Competence Issues CLE credits per the State Bar of CA. Being a competent lawyer requires more than just technical skills-a lawyer must also possess the mental and emotional abilities to competently represent their clients. This seminar will discuss the detection of the mental and emotional issues that impair an attorney's ability to perform legal services with competence. Together we will explore how to use meditation, mindfulness, and yoga as tools to combat the unique pressures of practicing law.
Following our seminar, a one-hour yoga class will be led by Jennifer Cormano, who is also a yoga instructor. Yoga mats will be provided or please feel free to bring a personal mat and towel; restrooms are available to anyone who wishes to change into their yoga attire. Don't miss this opportunity to network with other women attorneys. We look forward to seeing you.
